Darrington Elementary
Outdoor Youth Connections is pleased to award Darrington Elementary a $650 grant to subsidize Mountain School tuition for 3 underserved 5th graders in the Spring of 2020.
Unfortunately, covid closures altered those plans. The funds were eventually redirected to a rich science program for 5th graders. The program incorporated the natural world as a learning environment through fostering a connection with the outdoors and environmental stewardship.
